Engineering
  • Robin Allebone, engineering manager

Robin’s first job was at his uncle’s farm and factory, cooking and packing red beetroot.  And it was here that he learnt the basics of engineering, by helping the fitters with routine repairs.

After a brief stint as an HGV driver, Robin returned to maintenance engineering at a produce company, where he was responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all factory machinery.

He joined the Bartletts in 1994 as a farm fitter and was promoted to engineering manager after just six months.

As our business grows so too do Robin’s responsibilities.  But as we look to the future, he remains focussed on the preventative maintenance and repairs that are essential for keeping the business on track – both at the farm and at the factory.
