Many generations of Cambridgeshire school children have enjoyed class visits to the Chatteris factory. We’re delighted to show them around – and to pass on our knowledge of crop production, processing and packing.
Some ask loads of questions and would be able to write a detailed essay on a carrot’s journey from field to supermarket (we know; we’ve seen copies…).
Others are more interested in their drink and biscuit. But as their thank you letters tell us, everyone remembers something positive about their visit, whether it’s the thrill of seeing our ‘cool machinery’, or the chill of our ‘great big fridge’.
Many Mums (and hamsters) are also happy with the bag of free carrots we send home with every child. And we can’t ask for better feedback that this:
‘I really thought that I had one of the best days of my life when I went to Bartletts.’ Thank you, Megan.
