The vast majority of our fields are in East Anglia; readily accessible from our base in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.
We work closely with all of our host farmers, forming part of their crop rotation and utilising their local knowledge in tandem with our own specialist skills.
For example, we sample and analyse every field before applying a unique blend of suspension fertilisers, which ensure the most favourable levels of nutrition for crop growth, size and flavour. And we carry out in-house seed germination tests to verify the figures provided by the seed houses; tests which some seed house laboratories have taken up in order to provide more reliable results themselves.
When it comes to machinery, we have invested in a specialist farming fleet, including a state-of-the-art carrot bunching rig and two positive selection parsnip harvesters.
This enables us to farm throughout the year – and deliver the reliability our customers have come to rely on.
